East Side Story is, at its heart, a voice for the people of East Leeds. This is why we want to welcome your stories, your concerns, and your celebrations. We have a team of dedicated journalists and editors out there to try and capture the stories of our areas. Still, we can’t be everywhere and can’t see and experience everything, so we’d like to invite you to submit your stories. You can share a written piece or just a story idea you would like our journalists to get involved with.

We can’t guarantee every story will get published; it must meet our editorial guidelines, be about or based in East Leeds, and our editorial team will help the piece with spelling and grammar issues to ensure it’s as readable as possible to get your point across.

All stories must be submitted with the name of the author. As long as you are the author, you can share a story you have shared elsewhere – however, plagiarism cannot be tolerated.
